The Pump House
There are few settings like this restaurant on a river in the northernmost outpost of contemporary civilization in Alaska. The Pump House Restaurant in Fairbanks offers family style dining in a historic setting on the Chena River. The Pump House 1890's Gold Rush motif and atmosphere adds to its charm. In season herbs are grown in the chef's garden outside the restaurant. Fresh Alaskan Salmon is delivered to the dock by floatplane. Prime beef here is aged 21 days.
