TourSaver Alaska Travel Deals - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much does the TourSaver® booklet cost?
A: Only $99.95. For over $20,000 in savings.
Q: What does 2-for-1 mean?
A: 2-for-1 means one person pays for a tour, attraction or admission and the 2nd person goes for free....buy-one-get-one-free. For hotels you pay for the first night and the second consecutive night is free.
Q: Are the "Free" items really free, or do you have to buy something else?
A: "Free" means TOTALLY FREE. No additional purchase is required.
Q: Many of the coupons say "Space is limited and restrictions apply." How can I be sure that I can use my coupon?
A: It's important to call ahead for reservations, just like you do for airlines and hotels. The sooner you make your arrangements, the more likely it is that you'll be confirmed on your desired date.
Q: How long does it take to get the Alaska TourSaver once you order it?
A: Most TourSaver books ship to U.S. locations via Priority Mail and books will arrive in 3 to 5 business days. Outside the United States, books are shipped via UPS or International Priority Mail and delivery takes 7 to 14 days. In the U.S., USPS Express Mail is also available and takes 1 to 2 days, and Fed Ex Standard Overnight shipping is an option. We provide International Fed Ex shipping as well.
Q: How can I be sure that the coupons in the book will be honored by the merchants?
A: All tour operators, hotels and merchants participating in Alaska TourSaver have signed legal and binding contracts. We have confidence that you will be treated with respect and courtesy. If a booking problem should occur, simply contact us and we will help resolve the issue. TourSaver customers have purchased more than 30,000 books since the program started and we receive rave reviews and numerous testimonials each year.
Q: How long do we have to use the coupons in the Alaska TourSaver?
A: All the coupons are valid for the calendar year of 2013. Most coupons expire at the end of the tourist season in September. Some, including the hotel coupons, expire at the end of the year, December 31, 2013.
Q: Do I have to make advance reservations, or can I just show up?
A: For many of the offers, advance reservations are required. Additionally, you must mention that you have a Alaska TourSaver. These conditions are part of the restrictions which are printed on each coupon.
Q: Are there any other restrictions for using the coupons? Days of the week? Time of day?
A: There are more than 130 offers in the Alaska TourSaver and all the participating merchants have their own set of restrictions. These are printed clearly on each coupon. This is why it is important to have the TourSaver in hand when making reservations.
Q: How do I make reservations for the offers in the book?
A: On each coupon, there is a phone number for reservations and information--some coupons have a reservation code.
Q: Do I have to buy the Alaska TourSaver before I get to Alaska?
A: Many Alaska visitors purchase the TourSaver 6 to 8 months before they travel. It's a good idea to plan ahead for your trip to Alaska, particularly when traveling during the peak travel months of June, July and August. However, the Alaska TourSaver is also available at all Carrs and Safeway grocery stores throughout Alaska. Check at Customer Service at any store.
Q: What is the TourSaver return policy?
A: If the TourSaver is not everything we've promised, simply return the book in its original 'NEW' condition within 14 days for a refund of the book cost. We do not refund shipping costs. Please request a Return Authorization Number for refunds and include name, book number and date of purchase. Refunds are issued 7 to 10 days after TourSaver receives returned book(s). Returned books should be shipped to: TourSaver Order Center, 2001 W. 21st Street, Broadview, IL 60155. Books must include Return Authorization Number for refund.
Q: Do you have any more information on Alaska vacations?

Q: Which credit cards do you accept?
A: For online purchases, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. If you purchase your booklet in Alaska at Carrs or Safeway you can use your American Express card also.
