Board the Alaska Railroad train in Anchorage or Girdwood. See the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to see bears and other critters. Then, get back on the train for a trip to Spencer Glacier to start your float trip past the icebergs and down the Placer River. The train will stop and pick you up for the return to Portage. Then, return to Anchorage via motorcoach.
