Chef Jens Nannestad has enjoyed running one of Anchorage's top restaurants for fifteen years while serving inventive, innovative dishes featuring fresh seafood, pastas, poultry and beef. The appetizers are fresh and fun, the pizzas are perfect and the wine list is thoughtful and extensive. The desserts are works of art--especially the Chocolate Decadence and the Creme Brulee. Appetizers include: steamed clams, mussels, oysters, scallops, fresh mozzarella with pistachio vinaigrette and tapenade, whole roasted garlic with cambozola cheese or brie flatbreads.

The entrée list includes at least three beef dishes, five pasta dishes, chicken, veal, venison, duck, lamb, halibut, prawns and scallops. A display of delectable desserts greets you as you step into this classy south Anchorage restaurant established in 1996. Frequent diners include Alaska's governor and Anchorage's mayor. It became an instant success with locals because of a consistently superb fresh seafood menu and explorative preparations of pork loin, venison, and peppered steak. Wine is available by the glass or bottle. Dress is casual to formal.
